Who We Are
Aces Hi! is a lively London-based network for learning and playing bridge. We meet in different parts of London. This page is about bridge playing and teaching in East London (Canary Wharf), where are our regular playing session is on Wednesday evenings.

Our aim is to make bridge congenial for both beginners and improvers. (There are several other clubs in London catering to expert players). Singles, couples and groups all welcome; single players found bridge partners at all sessions. We particularly welcome younger players looking for new social opportunities, but whatever your age everyone with a positive outlook is made to feel part of the group.

What We Do
We meet on Wednesday evenings for bridge at Reebok Sports Club London, Canada Square, London E14 5ER (see details below). Our East London programme includes:

    Playing Opportunities

    • Friendly social bridge play for those who know the basics including recent graduates from our classes. Normal playing sessions are straightforward social play – simply turn up and join an available table any time from 6.30pm onwards. Advice and support are available as needed. Novices and refreshers especially welcome; no partner necessary. Table money is £6.00.

How to get to RSCL Reebok Sports Club is above Waitrose in the Canada Place shopping mall in the heart of the Canary Wharf development. Take the lifts to the RSCL reception level and we meet in the bar/deli area of the club. There is direct easy access from Canary Wharf Jubilee Line underground station and from the Docklands Light Railway. Car parking is available below Waitrose. We finish by 9.30pm.

Bridge Lessons for Absolute Beginners
We welcome beginners at the Reebok Club but be prepared to pick things up as you go along. If you would like a more formal grounding before playing at the Reebok, why not try our acclaimed 2-day Learn Bridge in a Weekend course. This covers all the basics and gets you going with a grounding.:

  • Learn Bridge in a Weekend Sat./Sun. April 26th/27th 2008. Intensive but fun 2-day course in Earls Court, SW5, 10.30am-5.30pm both days. £85 per person including all documentation. After this you will be able to join our RSCL playing group. Please email for details. The course is being repeated on May 17th/18th 2008.

Who's Who?
