Bridge Lessons For Absolute Beginners

On this page are details of both Weekend and Weekly Evening Class courses in Bridge. See opposite column for details of more advanced lessons.

LEARN BRIDGE IN A WEEKEND!
If you are a quick learner why not crack the basics in a single weekend and then spend future sessions actually playing! Learn Bridge in a Weekend is an intensive course that assumes no prior knowledge. The course takes place on Saturday and Sunday, 10.30am-5.30pm (both days). Next dates for this course are April 26th/27th or May 17/18th 2008 in Earls Court, London SW5.

On the course you will learn the basics of card play and bidding and by Sunday afternoon you will play in your first small competition! You can come on your own or with a partner, or bring a gang of friends or colleagues. The course is led by Ned Paul, a qualified and experienced bridge teacher. This course has run successfully on many previous occasions and is a great way to learn bridge. Course fee including all documentation is £85.00.

Next scheduled dates:

  • April 26th/27th 2008 (London SW5)
  • May 17th/18th 2008 (London SW5)

To book email Ned for full details and registration form or call or text 07944 768643. Further editions of the course will be held throughout 2008.

SUNDAY INTERMEDIATE LEVEL SEMINARS
During Spring 2007 we ran a series of Sunday seminars. Each Sunday morning tuition session comprised an approx. 45-minute formal lesson, followed by a set of prepared hands to play on the topic of the day. Notes and hand records were provided.

Every seminar stands alone - attend only the ones you want or are available for.

Following the morning seminar, each afternoon there was relaxed duplicate bridge suitable for all standards, and you could ahve attnded only the seminar, only the duplicate or stayed for both.

We have left the range of dates and topics up so you can get the idea of the subjects and standard of the seminars.

We are hoping to annouce further dates and topics. Please email if interested and we will notify you when the details are finalised.
